ABOUT THUNDERBOLTS

Thunderbolts is NIRMIT's high-energy Ad Mad competition. Teams receive a random futuristic tech product or quirky service concept on-spot, get 15 minutes to script an ad, and perform a live 3–5 minute commercial on stage.

On-spot product allocation at 2:00 PM. Teams get 15 minutes in holding rooms to brainstorm jingles, roles, and taglines. Teams perform live on stage evaluated on humor, creativity, and brand pitch.

COMPREHENSIVE RULES & ELIGIBILITY DIRECTIVES

  • Products or brand concepts will be allocated via random draw on-spot.
  • Teams are given exactly 15 minutes of preparation time prior to stage call.
  • Performance length on stage is strictly limited to 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Content must adhere to ethical guidelines; vulgarity or offensive humor results in instant disqualification.
  • 🚫 Cross-College Teams Prohibited: Cross-college or non-college teams are strictly prohibited. All members of a team MUST belong to the exact same college/institute. Cross-college or non-college teams will face immediate disqualification and elimination.
  • 🏫 Multiple Teams Allowed: Each college or institute is permitted to enter multiple separate teams for this event.
  • 🆔 Mandatory Identity & Approval Documents: All team members must carry a valid physical College Student ID Card, Government Photo ID (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Passport), and an official Approval Letter / NOC from their respective college authority for campus gate entry and verification.
  • Strict adherence to allocated stage/presentation timings. Overtime performance will incur point penalties.
  • Decisions rendered by the official NIRMIT 2.0 evaluation jury panel are absolute, final, and non-negotiable.
